Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, especially in the main building, were fairly basic but looked great. However, cleanliness was an issue. The service was friendly and attentive, although Room Service was a bit slow. The location, although surrounded by lush greenery, didn't live up to its full potential. The dining experience was decent but lacking variety compared to other hotels in the area.
The hotel is like an old mansion from the outside, but the rooms are not impressive and have a strong cigarette smell. The TV only had a few black and white channels, not ideal for a comfortable stay. The service was friendly but lacked English proficiency, resembling more a 1-star property than a royal experience.
The hotel gives off a grand exterior but lacks royal feels inside. The rooms, situated in a separate building, were not up to standard in terms of cleanliness. Despite being surrounded by greenery, the location is not ideal for food options. The service, though courteous, falls short with slow and grumpy staff. The dining experience, too basic for a 4-star property, left much to be desired, prompting us to skip breakfast. The facilities are adequate but nothing extraordinary.
The hotel was very spacious and clean, but needed major repairs. The TV only had 4 channels in black and white at the wee hours of the morning. The service was helpful, although Room Service was a little slow and misleads tourists during taxi booking for extra money. The location, although near to the railway station, did not live up to its potential and was quite out of the way, surrounded by very busy roads. The dining experience was quiet decent but lacked choice compared to other hotels. The pool area appeared clean but untidy with broken loungers.
I stayed at the hotel nestled in a 19-acre oasis of calm, close to Bangalore Palace. The spacious and clean rooms, although not in the beautiful castle but in an annex of the older building, were cozy but need immediate attention to deal with bed bugs. The service was pleasant overall, with a young gentleman named Prajwal standing out for his helpfulness amidst a few with a big bunch of attitude. The location, despite its untidiness and lack of facilities, provided a peaceful retreat away from the city noises, guided by the courteous Neel at the reception. The dining experience, offering a variety of options, was decent and a great value for food lovers. The facilities could use some improvement to match the serene setting. Wi-Fi and other paid services should be reconsidered for better value.
